Cross Green came alive with music as a flashmob-style orchestra performed beside the magnificent backdrop of Ely Cathedral in support of ShelterBox.
The special afternoon brought musicians, Rotarians and members of the local community together to raise funds and awareness for a charity that provides emergency shelter and essential supplies to people affected by disasters around the world.
Passers-by stopped to listen and enjoy the performances, creating a wonderful atmosphere at the heart of Ely. The event demonstrated what can be achieved when music, generosity and community spirit come together in support of an important cause.
Members of the Rotary Club of Ely were delighted to join the organisers and support the event. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the afternoon possible—including the talented musicians, organisers, volunteers and fellow Rotarians.
