Members of the community gathered on 11 April 2026 for a warm and welcoming coffee morning hosted jointly by Ely Methodist Church and the Rotary Club of Ely.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for people to come together, enjoy conversation, and strengthen community connections in a relaxed setting. Guests were able to meet new people, catch up with friends, and learn more about the work of ShelterBox.
ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and essential supplies to families affected by conflict, natural disasters, and displacement around the world. Through events such as this coffee morning, local communities can play a part in supporting those facing some of life's most difficult circumstances.
The Rotary Club of Ely would like to thank Ely Methodist Church, volunteers, and everyone who attended for helping make the morning such an enjoyable and meaningful occasion.
