At our meeting on Thursday 30 July, members of the Rotary Club of Ely had the pleasure of hosting Beth Codie, a Community Fundraiser for Parkinson’s UK.
Beth gave an engaging and informative talk about the work of Parkinson’s UK and the difference the charity makes in the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s. She also explained the vital role community fundraising plays in supporting the charity’s services, campaigning and research into better treatments.
The presentation gave members a valuable insight into the challenges faced by people living with Parkinson’s, as well as the many ways individuals, clubs and local communities can contribute to the charity’s work.
The Rotary Club of Ely would like to thank Beth for taking the time to visit us and for sharing such an interesting and worthwhile presentation.
